0733, Half and half

Following on from the wooden version, here's the first painted face.

Because... you know... painted faces.



00732, Many tiny faces

To make many tiny faces, make a silicone mold (which can be spelt "mould" or "mold", depending on location, although I've probably picked the wrong one).


Then, fill the mold with resin:


And repeat:

Here's the first face. Cut out of Utilie on the CNC, oiled and waxed:

I don't need a reason to make tiny masks as the following pictures will attest.

Designed using subdivision modelling in Cinema 4D, then imported into Fusion 360 to create toolpaths for the CNC. Then machined in Utilie (that's wood) and cast in silicone to make resin copies. Then painted in a variety of different ways.

These are the digital versions before they enter the physical world:
