00727, Macro

Recently took apart a nice DVD recorder and snatched the motors and lenses.

This is what happened to the lenses:

They're in a plastic enclosure that is formed to clip on to my phone, so the lens sits right over the lens. Works a treat:

00692 Crystal ball

It's crystal ball time again, which means stuff which is hard to see, upside down.

And awesome.

00636 The Street, man

I'd like to think I'm on the edge of becoming a ground breaking street photographer, as it only involves intruding on people's privacy and generally making a nuisance of myself (which I am awesome at).

The only issue that has recently come to light, is that taking pictures in an area which is renowned as being Mafia HQ, without first seeking the permission of the residents, might lead to long swims with heavy shoes:

00397 Down low

I've always prided myself on consistently refusing to follow the crowd.

Until they do something I like.

Actually it happens quite often (I got really into the breathing thing for a long while).

So down low I go. Sometimes it's good sometimes no-go. Either way it's a great use of a digital camera for passing the micro seconds:

00391 Posing bear

Cara got this teddy from her teacher - they all get a chance to look after it.

And my, didn't we all have fun?

No.

Just me:

00308 Light in a tent

Simon brought round his light tenty thingamyjig. It's nice. It's like having a macro studio that fits into your bag and then pops up when you want to use it.

I forgot to take any pictures of the slow gin bottle and my hip flask, so I'll nick his when he posts them up.

But I did take picures of the origami stars I've been making as part of a £3 secret Santa. They're so compulsive to make:

But we did get to take pictures of Meriel's neclace that she made with this crazy PMC (precious metal clay) stuff - just add heat and it turns into silver. Real silver. We're rich mwahahahahahahahaha!
