00352 Collaboration on the sand

So six of us turned up to try out the idea of doing some rake art at Vazon.

Lovely day, lots of rakes. Not a bad result, although it was the abstracts that really worked for me:

00350 Nightmares

He wants to eat your parts:

... and then I woke up.

00349 Blah, blah, blah

Quite literally an excerpt from my new forthcoming book:

Blah blah blah blah blah blah . blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah . blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

‘Blah blah blah,blah blah blah.

‘Blah blah blah blah blah blah; blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah? Blah

‘Blah, blah. Blah

‘Blah! Blah blah blah blah? Blah.

‘Blah -blah blah blah blah ,blah blah blah , blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

‘Blah blah blah blah ,blah blah blah. Blah.

‘Blah blah, blah, blah blah blah —‘

‘Blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah; blah blah blah blah blah blah . blah blah blah blah, blah -

blah blah blah blah, blah. Blah, blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah. Blah.

Blah blah blah blah , blah blah blah blah blah blah blah , blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah; blah blah blah blah blah blah blah . blah blah blah blah blah; blah blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah blah. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

It's really hot stuff, as you can tell, although anyone can see that it needs quite a bit of work on the editing front. Still, when it's done it'll be quite unique.

By the way it's called "Blah blah blah blah blah blah" - catchy, eh?

00346 Rake patterns for the Gallery

Gen at the Gallery has asked me to look into a collaborative rake pattern event with a view to running team building workshops. Sounds good to me.

So I'm thinking up ideas for us to try out when meet up for the trail. Now, I don't really like the idea of circles, but they're as good a place as any to start:

Meriel had this really cool idea about having a game of snake. If it works out, I'll post up the results.

We'll be able to cover alot of the beach, considering five rakes are better than one and ten are better than five.

00341 They're coming

Sell your family and run for the hills! Then sell the hills and buy a new family!

If you are serious about the selling-you-family thing you should head straight for Sell-Your-Family.com

I already did mine and I'm writing this entry from the hills.

Anybody want to buy a hill?

00338 Wreck fishing

So I went with Simon and a couple of the guys from his work (sadly no Andy) and we headed off with Richard Seager in his awesome boat for a day's wreck fishing.

To my mind the fish we were catching were MONSTERS. Pollock all day long (I got 7) and all between 8 and 12lb. I took 6 home to eat (not all in one go) and as a result I could barely carry them home. I mean, just look at them:

Here's Richard, his boat rocks, but doesn't beach:

It's bordering on whale hunting for someone of my weakened constitution.

00337 Feb catchup

Most importantly this month - the emergence of another question to add to the hitherto unpublished list:
What covers most of the sea bed?
Here's the only other two I can remember:
What's the difference between a Prime Minister and a President? Why do some countries have one, the other or both or none?
and
Is honey better for you than sugar?

Maybe I get the answers, maybe I don't.

In other news, Skiing (or rather snowboarding) accompanied by obligatory drinking:

My stick The Fridge

And how much more forgettable could fishing be?
Seven Pollock totaling around 60-70lb? I can't even remember all their names, but they fill my belly just the same.

Still to come in march - paint roller man and a guy made from bits Cara gave me.

00336 Noooooooooooooooooooo!

doooooooooooooooon't!

Noooooooooooo

"he can't hear you, this glass is too thick."

"what glass?"

"the glass between us and him"

"is this some kind of lab?"

"no, it's a camera"

"you mean we're inside a camera?"

"yup"

"wow. how did we get here?"

"dunno. ask the guy behind you"

"who him?"

"yeah, him"

"but he's just made up"

"yeah but so are we"

"no kidding?"

"nope"

"man, i gotta stop taking those pills"

"doesn't matter, they're made up too"

00335 Snowhead

They call him snow head.

Snowman

"That's no head", they say.

"No that's snow head", I say.

Then they don't say anything. But they call the police and hide their children.

00334 Cordless wire

But not wireless cord.

I don't have two wireless receivers, so I cut up a connecting cable and extended it with spare wire I had lying around. Now both flashes are triggeres wirelessly.

Well, one of them is and one of them has like a step-wireless trigger. Either way, the camera's not attached to them:

I also keep gels in a packet on my flag:

Just like everyone else does.

Probably.
